Staking $BITE in a Few Clicks with PolkaBridge Ensure Your High APY

Following the results of the whitelisting yesterday (which you can find here), all the winners of the DragonBite Public and Private Pools — as well as our community — can get ready for their $BITE. At 5:00PM UTC today, PolkaBridge is opening a Staking program for their $BITE holders.

Staking programs are an innovative way for crypto holders to earn returns and make their crypto work for them.

Staking provides passive income in the long term. When you stake you earn interest by contributing tokens to staking pools. After locking tokens for a given period of time, stakers can claim their rewards or unstake their tokens at any time.

DragonBite-Polkabridge Staking Pool Explained

Every month, 390,000 BITE will be distributed to all the stakers of the DragonBite-PolkaBridge Staking Pool.

The APY will be calculated automatically based on the amount deposited and duration of the staking. This means participants will earn different interests rates. The more the participants, the less the rewards so in order to maximize your gain, it’s recommended to start staking early and for a long period of time. There is no required lock-up period nor a minimum of $BITE to stake in order to participate in this program.

How to stake and unstake?

Staking on PolkaBridge can be done in a only few clicks:

1.Go to the staking portal website:t https://stake.polkabridge.org;

2. Connect Metamask to the platform

3. Once connected, the total amount of $BITE held in your wallet will show as your balance

4. Click to the button ‘’stake’, enter the amount you wish to stake (or click ‘’max’’ should you want to stake all your BITE and then confirm);

5. On your dashboard, you could then access to 3 new indicators:

Your total amount of $BITE staked;
Claimed rewards;
Pending rewards;

6. When you want to unstake come back on your dashboard and click unstake;

As an ERC-20 token, $BITE transfers on Ethereum’s network; so. gas fees apply when $BITE is moved in and out of a staking program.
